Hoe the old boys in Iraq have as good a day as I am having in my race on the southern border. Last time I saw Wild Will and his donkey was at the starting line, trying to get him out of trhe back of his pick-up. Heidi and Taylor were right behind me, but then I saw them pull in at the Walmoart on the outskirts of San Diego so I figure they are at least a half day behind me because I am sure they will also stop at Denny's for brunch. Right now, just resting my truck alittle form the heat, sittinghere under the shade of a cactus and sipping root beer. My new satelite phone works great, my downlaod time on my lap top is faster thna my home base system. I will wait here long enough to pick up two more messicans to go along with the three I have now, they will be riding in the back in the event that I need an evacuation crewq to push me out of any sand traps. I will drop them off on the Mexico side of the border when I get a little closer to the finish line. Got to run, see a call waiting for me from FOX News.
Wont Fox be confused when they have to book airline reservations to Homer to interview someone who is supposed to be on the Messican border-hope they read my disclaimer.
Do you feel the hot breath of my mule closing in on you-you'll slow down when you get past Yuma and into the Barry Goldwater Military Range-be sure to lift your blade.
don't know where the rest of you are at by I am at a little town in southern Arizona real close to the border call Apache Water Hole. Frioendly people. Ran all night so we are taking a break waiting for the rest of you to catch up so ity won't be a lop sided victory. Stopped and helped the National Guard build a few miles of fence. It was forunate that I came along one stretch, found a bunch of peole walking inthe middle of the night, don't know what happened but maybe their tour bus broke down but I gave them a ride to the nearest interstate highway so they could catch a ride. I think they were on a tour because they all sooike a differnet language than I so I am sure they were on a tour bus - but they did not have nay camewras which is rare for tourists. Time to eat a little fry bread and a nap.
