Iditiroad
Made it through the great Midwest storm. Kept having to stop for road closures. My mere 2000 pounds didn't help in the high velocity winds of Indiana and Illinois. I70 was closed at St. Louis forcing a layover on Cherry Street. The next day dawned bright sunny and cold so Spike and I headed down I44 to Oklahoma stopping for more snow removal just shy of Joplin. A mechanical delay at Big Cabin, OK ate hours and I rolled into Stillwater, OK at night. 7 miles before Stillwater, Bliztzen decided to ram my sleeper as I cruised the hammer lane swerving for snow drifts and frozen armadillos. With minimal damage and no sign of Santa's wheel deer I visited that night with Leah and then onward through sunshine through Amarillo, TX to TX/NM state line. Next day to Flagstaff, AZ. Next to Chiriacco Summit, CA and finally into Redlands, CA. Loaded now with 40, 000 of batteries. It seems that personal pleasuring devices in Mass are running low on juice and my load must go through in time for the great Orgasm for Peace day. I blog from Beaver, UT once again.

Passed through Las Vegas early this morning, 4am is the secret for a smooth passage. Failed to see the NFR or any of my kin. Lodged in comforts of Jean, NV I enjoyed hot and cold running babes. Just to think that Tater Salad and I slept in the same area last night. Rodeo was sold out so I did kareoke at the naughty ladies saloon. It was either there or at the hairy palms casino(whats that about-palm trees or .....)
Do all roads intersect at Beaver, Utah? You always seem to pick a route that takes you into Beaver! I just talked to last night and you were in a casino in Nevada, with a load headed to Denver - now you are in Beaver - you need a new GPS! I know you are saying you are running north to I-70 from Nevada and then take I-70 into Denver - but why could you not cut across Arizona, New Mexico and then go up the east side of Colroado avoiding all the moutian passes - oh, I forgot, Beaver, Utah. Thanks for doing your part for the peace rally on the 1st day of winter, might want to kick off a couple of cases in Beaver. Have a good pleasure trip during your break, driving south on our highway system will give you a taste of what we all go through on a dioaly basis of dodging truckers! Give our best congratulations to Leah upon her graduation and we wish her well in her Professorship - wow wqe got a kindergarten teacher and now a college professor in the family. Make sure you have flowers and chocolates for the graduates mother - perhaps you can figure out a way that will cut your hotel / motel costs. Have a good time!
Candy is dandy, but Dad always said Liqour is quicker.
By the way, I like Beaver...I really like Beaver
Insead of using a address in Wyoming, why don't you get box in Beaver, Utah? I know there will be tax complications in Utah, but having an address of Beaver, Utah for a trucker would be the ultimate. I checked it out, the zip code for Beaver, Utah is 86969, that is unique. I have two son in laws, a grandson and a son (acting as the advisor) that have started a fishing guiding business in the Anchroage bowl area. If you got an address in Beaver, then they could also advertise a hunting camp in that area and you could be the advisor. Do you realize how much those Texans would pay to go tot he high country of Utah to hunt beaver? You could even get your heard of mules that you want and advertise "ass riding and beaver hunts"!
STOP THE PRESSES - HOT FLASH!!!!!!
Curosity finally got the best of me, I checked up on Beaver, Utah on the net. You have to go to beaverutah.net on the www and listen to their theme song, "Grand Old Beaver" - "if I am lying I am dying". Population is 2,511 give or take a few beavers! The ironic thing is that we have connections to Beaver beside Ranger Bill - keeping in mind that our campground is named the "Hole in The Wall", named after the hideout of famous outlaws Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Well, my research reveals that the main claim to fame for Beaver, Utah (beside beavers along the interstate)is that it is the birth place of Butch Cassidy - again, "if I am lying, I am dying"
I have been to Beaver, stopped there for breakfast one morning on my way from Montrose to Las Vegas. Early morning, had been driving in the snow all night. Had a great breakfast, went to pay for it but allI had was $100.00 bills -which they could not cash. I had to wait until the bank opened so I could change a $100.00. I also visited an antique store there, just as you come into town on the right and bought a couple of old rods and reels - after I had breakfast and had the proper change.
