Idaho Senator Playing
Footsy in Bathroom stall
What else can we be subjected to than the sorrid details of Sen Craig's antics in Minneapolis.
It does raise alot of questions. It also makes one rethink the dangers of entering bathroom facilities again. I had no idea that tapping one's right foot was code for gays to hook up. What if there was a snappy beat coming from the bathroom entertainment channel. He should never have and would never have played footsy if it was truck stop stall. First of all he'd pull back a stub of what used to be his foot. His hand may have a wad of toilet tissue of the used variety
when he withdrew it. Next time I use one I will wonder if an undercover officer is in the stall next to me. (if there is-never again will I light a match to mask the odor-let him suffer)
Senator-you should have used a stall next to Mr. Ed. That way you would have had a real stud.

Latest read
Just completed Dick North's The Mad trapper of the Rat River.

A compelling book that is difficult to put down. Dick North did an excellent job researching the facts behind the Mad Trapper of Yukon fame. He busted many of the myths and opened up leads that led to knowing once and for all who this person was. He linked him with sufficient evidence to convince me that Albert Johnson was one and the same as Johnny Johnson(of the Wild Bunch). Johnny robbed a bank in Montana, eluded a posse to get caught stealing horses in Wyoming. Lucky not to have swung on the spot he served time in prison in Wyoming then to Montana to serve time there for the bank robbery. Johnny was not done with prison time and he served some more time in San Quinton and Folsom prisons. He migrated Northward to finally meet his end in the Yukon.

MY Next Read
The Late Great USA by Jerome Corsi

The non fiction book is an eye opener. Corsi also wrote the book on the Swift Boat history of John Kerry(unfit for command).
I have to wonder what it will be like if our leaders lead us over a cliff. The cliff being to establish us as part of a greater North American Union(as similar to European Union). We lose our borders with Canada and Mexico and our soveriegnty with it. Just think what that'll do to our bill of rights we take too often for granted. To keep and bear arms will be targeted for extinction(Canada won't abide with that remaining). Our dollar will be replaced with the Amero.
Far fetched?-Bush has met several times with Mexico and Canada on this very scheme. This may help to explain the Bush position on illegal immigration and his reluctance to enforce the border. In this he is on the wrong side and let's remember this when the election draws closer-who will put on the stops to this insanity.

Business Plan
Sort of like the red one but bigger, what can one do for living if they live in Hyder, AK.
A retired trucker could make a living perhaps with a floating convenience store, ferrying it
from markets in Ketchikan to distant SE ports like Hyder. Fuel, convenience items, mail, personal freight.....

Catch One, I'll be back with more.
Shana, you wanted one and I found a few.

Mixing Technologies
This gleaned from Fox News. Japanese industry has come up with the g-vibrator.
Gaads, this is mixing our technologies. Now your sweetie can really get down to the
tunes with her new g pod vibrator. Slip come Frankie Yankovich in there and watch
her squirm with excitement. How about Lonestar, Charlie Daniels. It'd be wrong to
load it with Gospel wouldn't it. What about J P Sousa, how about the national anthymn.

Pope
The photo is of Sheriff Pope of Utah. He was one of the few lawmen to penetrate the outlaw enclave of Brown's Park. Few lawmen dared enter for fear of never living long enough to leave it. He was quite interesting if you want to google him.
Now as to me, where have Spike and Billy been?
We've just finished a run from Utah to Portland and now are making the run the other direction-back to Utah. We've been to Denver and back(dinner out on the town at Casa Bonita)
Had sort of a "ropeyarn Sunday" getting stuff done in Denver. Then it was back to Utah via I80 and Wyoming. Crete is pressuring me to obtain a Wyoming CDL. I countered by borrowing a Colorado address. I worked hard for that CDL and am not quite ready to exchange it for a Wyoming CDL.
Freight was slow in Salt Lake City when we left there for Portland. I spent the 24th which was a Utah holiday trying to find an open bank-70 miles to Evanston took care of that. Pioneer Day in SLC. Celebrating the Mormon handcart brigade finding the Salt Lake area. Hell , they would not have found their butts if Jim Bridger hadn't pointed them the way. This Gentile was a cussin them as I made the rounds of all the closed banks.

So Where Have I Been since July 4

Well, I've been a truckin. The photo above shows that I came through the big Utah

fire . This location is I70 and I15 near Cove Fort, UT. Beaver was spared. I have most

recently been to Roswell, NM. Up and over the Mescalero Apache Rez, through Lincoln County

of Billy the Kid fame, through Ruidoso(meaning?-bear river I think). No aliens spotted in

Roswell. Down to Socorro, TX for the last load and then into Ontario. Passed close to Mecca,

CA. Will pick up next load and be Beaver bound(Well-Sandy, UT).

Happy Fourth from Everett, WA. Finally unloaded last of my Dixie cups in Kent, drove up here to Everett in expectation of a load out of Kimberly Clark(huggies). Slow freight so will likely enjoy another day here on the marina. Toured the Naval Station yesterday as part of of the July 4 open house. Did not make it on board the Abe but she was there dressed out in all her splendor. Dress ship. Did get aboard a Vietnam PBR(featured recently on Discover channel). Dang they are small-no galley, no head. This trucker had a tough time scooting through the hatch. Very thin armor protected helm-very thin. Had a great time.

Which is Which

The photo on left is Isom Dart, shot by Tom Horn. Tom was working a rustling case

in Brown's Park at the time under alias of Jim Hicks. Isom ignored the warnings for

him to give up the practice and was hence eliminated. Tom and Isom both were

rodeo cowboys and both appeared in Grand Junction rodeos. The portrait is of Nat Love

and it made it to postage stamp. The photo on right is Isom I believe.

History Notes

I'll pass along some interesting stuff I found in my idle time.
The Ranger seated here is Arrington. Makes one wonder
if he could have been related-Harrington-Arrington?
Anyhow. The two maps are the representative of the
famed Outlaw Trail which leads from Mexico up through Utah, Colorado,
and Wyoming. These trails connected the Robbers Roost are situated
North of Canyonlands in Utah, Brown's Park in Northern Utah and Colorado.
and Hole in the Wall in Wyoming.

Rocky Mountain Jihad
By Ranger Bill Harrington
Trying to cast for the characters in my book. Jennifer no doubt for leading lady role. Edward Woodward for leading man. Charles Bronson for my supporting actor(Samson). Pee Wee Herman for the role of the person who head the church of interest.
Thanks to her husband and the former President, Hillary has
cornered the puppet constituency.

Have arrived safely in Cheyenne. Awaiting clearance from Crete Safety Dpt to then be placed in a rig. Should be complete and driving by the weekend. Had a good trip down. Miss the gang
that hangs out at the Hole. If time and funds permit maybe I'll get some photos of the real HITW. Annabelle missed me, she sure did.....

Oh how to break the news to my millions of admiring fans that I am once again Southward bound for more lucrative employment. But never fear, Alaska will see me again and again and again. I'll leave much of my stuff stored safely in Anchor Point as well as my mailbox. I will be a man with two addresses which for the long haul trucker means I'll see little of either. I will
return to Wyoming to plate my truck there. The horse trailer I also leave behind in my brother's care. Stay tuned to this blog for my current whereabouts. You just never know.

Does Alaska have lot lizards? Well, maybe a sub species. Boardwalk Babes and in keeping with their nappy reptilian relation- those garters don't adorn innocent doves.

Since being up here, I landed a trucking job on this one wheeler rig. Takes alot of trips to match the payload of a 53 foot van.

Our congress has their heads up their butts if they think it won't happen again. The arrest of
some who had come here to enjoy the benefits of our country only to turn against us and plot to kill Americans on Ft. Dix. That was just the most recent example. Who let them in here anyhow? Show them the door back to where they came from, if that doesn't work, show them the door to hell. We have to get tough on immigration to this country. As for illegal immigration-it is illegal, it's a crime, it's our borders-enforce them for Pete's sake. We don't owe it anyone to allow them to come here and then mock our laws and threaten our citizens. IF
we don't engage this Global war on terror-it will come here again. Not if-it's WHEN.
This month Mexican truckers were given the green light to drive our highways-American truckers were given the finger. There is no way those Mexican drivers will given the
scrutiny they need-in the meantime the American driver will be given lots of DOT harassment.
I was inspected at a weigh station near San Diego recently-I am Caucasian, drove for a reputable company with an excellent safety record and passed without a problem. The problem however is how many Mexican trucks will be given the same attention. My senator and congressman
swore their undying allegiance to NAFTA and I'll swear mine to seeing them out of office in the next election.
