History Notes

I'll pass along some interesting stuff I found in my idle time.
The Ranger seated here is Arrington. Makes one wonder
if he could have been related-Harrington-Arrington?
Anyhow. The two maps are the representative of the
famed Outlaw Trail which leads from Mexico up through Utah, Colorado,
and Wyoming. These trails connected the Robbers Roost are situated
North of Canyonlands in Utah, Brown's Park in Northern Utah and Colorado.
and Hole in the Wall in Wyoming.

Arrington actually worked for the Pinkerton Security, which would eventually be incorporated to what we know today as the Secret Service. Arrington's claim to fame as a security agent was tracking down Belle Starr after the murder of Diamond Jim. He wanted to try to pin the killing on Doc Holiday, but his fame as a gunfighter and freind of Wyatt Earp, he decided to try to pin the killing on Belle starr. However, she got him in her suite one night after much alcohol had been cponsumed and convinced him she was innocent. After that night, he drank a lot of Sasperilla.
