I found this excellent Tundra/Beach rig. Perfectly suited to Alaska, it will do a trucker proud. This one is located near I35 in Oklahoma.

Delivered then a load back to SLC via Colorado and I70. Yes, I went over Soldiers Summit. Bloggin from SLC tonight.

WOW! Those are some tires on that baby...bet they make a mess if you blow rubber on the free way! Britts dad likes to take his truck through mud holes...maybe those wheels are for him. hehe

Must be great to be based out of an area this close to Beaver, Utah. You are seeing a lot of SLC. Any of those other roads in Utah that you have not driven yet, if you have nay questions, let me know, I covered a bunch of them looking for Beaver. Also, if you are ever hauling a "questionable load" and do not want to cross the scales going into Arizona, call me. I found a back road that will take you across the border, the "Welcome to Arizona" is only 4"x6", gravel road but no traffic and no enforcement. If you cannot get ahold of me, follow the road into the "Coral Pink Sand Dunes" in soutehrn Utah, when leaving them, turn left insgtead of right and that will take you to the secret road.

So Dad put on (or will) 12,000 miles in a month...how many do you drive in a month?

That IS a very adept looking transport for the long winters on Alaskan roads. If you ran off the road at night, in a white-out snow storm, would you even know you're off the road? And, would it matter? You could drive a straight line to your destination. You might spill your coffee and shake up the soda pop, though.

Do you mean you are on a monthly quota? No wonder you take the long way around to your destination by going to Beaverville!

That's a lot of miles!

How did your Thanksgiving Diner date go? Perhaps you got lucky when the "wish bone" was snapped!
