At Last It Has Been Revealed.
This is that flatbed I often brag about. I am looking for suggestions and ideas on
how to 1) get it North 2) what to do with it when I get it here and 3) how to modify it

unkind and unhelpful suggestions will be declined such as anything to do with explosives

Drive it north, with a few spare parts. Camp in it or give it to Heidi. Leave it the way it is, but that would do no good for sleeping, so maybe a log cabin in the back.

1) Due to petro use alone, Hire a truck driver to haul it to Anch. and drive it from there.

(someone that can help):

2) Make friends with an auto shop with a lift and pneumatic tools.
3) Modify an old airstream travel trailer into a cab-over. If it isn't 4x4 yet, get the gear.

although, the cabin is quite an inviting idea and the materials are readily available at HITWRA

Ah, let me see what I think you can do with your truck! Nah, it would not fit! However, I will be in Montrose this fall. I could load my Ford F150 on the deck and drive them both north, you pay the fuel, motel rooms, meals, and repairs. An additional .27 per mile for the driver in the Continental U.S., anything north of the Yellowstone River would be an additional .27 cents a mile or .54 cents. International driving cost would increase by .43 cents or .97 cents per mile. I believe that is the going rate for commercial truck drivers driving a similar route.
