First you take hay grown on ranches and farms in Utah, Idaho, or any of the other Mountain states. You then aggressively market it and export it to China, you ship it out to the Asian markets while hay prices in the U.S. remain at high prices. Those high prices for feed have

put the crimp on the horse market in the states.

I hope we are closing the trade gap with China in sending our hay and our beef. We have to balance the trade to this communist country by sending them this quality American commodity while they continue to send us their cheap crap. While driving for Knight I delivered two loads of hay to the Long Beach loading area and since have delivered beef with the same destination-Asia.

If the horse market is low in the lower 48, perhaps you should put a truck load of Shetland ponies and head north. I have heard tell you can make good money running a "pony ride ring". Better yet, since you get close to the order on occasion, why not sneak across and pick up some stock from that Old Mexican Bandit and drive'em north. Not only could you make some good money but what an adventure it would be. I can almost picture the stampede through the Canadian Customs. Shooting your gun off and heading up the road. You could make history! You would leave the Yellowstone so far behind, no one has ever driven a herd past the Yukon! Come to think of it, that would make a good book. No "blue Duck" because the Captain got him, but better yet you would have "Chief Kicking Horse" to contend with. There is a bad pass in Banff or Jasper, named after him. I drove the pass last fall and will again soon. The Calvary chased him through the Yellowstone and across Montana, but he got across the border with his people. I guess they did not have pass ports back then.

the fact kicking bird did not have a passport explains why he never returned or has been seen since-you need the pp to get back.
