Mountain Attachment
My ma and pa
and two brothers
have gone on before
We laid them to rest
In these mountains
Free to fly and soar
Which must explain the attachment
These mountain have for me
The single place
Where I feel most free
I'm mountain bound
I'm hammering down
I am climbing up the grade
For I am a mountain man
That is how I was made.

His only claim to fame militarily is his service from 1964-66.
Two years in Army intelligence during President Johnson's Vietnam War.
We know how effective that proved to be.
We are engaged in a war against terror, you would think the most qualified would be placed in that critical post and politics be damned. Protect America first. Why not Sen. McCain who is amply qualifeid for that position or Sen. Leiberman.
The source of information of this CIA chief during the recent Egyptian crisis was CNN, not his own CIA operatives, just reporters. Get real and fire this incompetent idiot.

A path to citizenship
I have a perfectly fine idea for those who seek a path to citizenship.
There would be two paths to take. One has to do with an American Foreign Legion.
Those serving in the AFL would serve in overseas assignments and in a support role to military units doing the logistical things for those deployed military units.
The other path would be the American Domestic Legion. Those
who chose the route of the ADL would be similar roles but supporting Homeland Security, BLM, USFS, Border Patrol, FEMA, National Guard, Coast Guard. They could be fighting forest fires
for instance. Service in either the ADL or the AFL would be a minimum six years but would lead to citizenship for they and their immediate family. Career service could also be encouraged.
